IRB has issued a practice note to clarify that the Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) is Final Tax and taxpayer can choose not to submit the Income Tax Return Form (ITRF) under Subsection 77C (1) of the Income Tax Act 1967 with effect from Year of Assessment 2014.
