SSM 2020 Xmas Discount Offer

SSM publishes a media release to offers exemption on late filing fee for statutory documents effective from 9 November 2020..

This exemption on the late filing fee was announced following our Government directives to implement the CMCO in some areas in Malaysia to curb the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The statutory documents involved are all statutory documents under the Companies Act 2016 which submit to the Registrar of Companies from 9 November 2020 and expires on 31 December 2020.

This exemption is offered to companies operating nationwide and is not limited to companies affected by directives under CMCO as an initiative to ease the financial burden of companies in Malaysia that were affected following the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In addition, SSM keeps monitoring the current development of the corporate sector in such challenging times by introducing various appropriate initiatives that can help the survival of business entities such as companies, sole proprietorship and conventional partnerships as well as Limited Liability Partnerships.
