01RMC latest update on postponement of effective date for digital platform service providers to register and to charge tourism tax.

The effective date for imposition of tourism tax on accommodation premises booked through digital platform service providers (DPSPs) from 1 July 2021 to 1 January 2022.

The effective date for DPSPs to register for tourism tax has been postponed from 1 April 2021 to 1 October 2021.
